In recent news, on September 12rd, 2014, Sony announced their new camera, the PXW-FS7 Compact 4K XDCAM, which will be added to their already expansive product line. This new innovative camera features 4K resolution recording capabilities, native E-mount technology, XAVC-L codec efficiency, and XQD transfer capabilities. The camera is expected to be released late 2014 and will have a price tag of approximately $10,000.00.
