In November of 2014, IBM landed multiple technology contracts amounting in the multi billions of dollars. On the 27th, IBM announced their winning of a $1.25 Billion contract with the world’s top advertising firm, WPP. The seven year deal calls for IBM to run WPP’s operations in their cloud data storage and to provide a service delivery and technology platform which will allow WPP to improve productivity along while integrating its operations.
This new hybrid cloud system will enable WPP to increase the use of big data and analytics for stronger decision making and improved the creative process. WPP’s new products and services will also have a faster deployment with greater communication and cooperation across its brands.
