On November 11, 2014 Acer Inc. announced their production of the world’s first 4K2K Ultra HD Monitor with HDMI 2.0. The 27 inch monitor dubbed S277HK features a 3840 x 2160 resolution which is four times higher than the current 1080p industry standard. In addition, the HDMI 2.0 connectivity will allow bandwidth of up to 18Gpss and transfer 4K content at 60 frames per second.
